November 8, Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The European Economic Days forum in Uzbekistan has
successfully concluded in Tashkent, marking a new stage in economic cooperation between
Uzbekistan and the European Union. The event brought together over 400 delegates, including
representatives from the business community, international financial institutions and government
entities from both the EU and Uzbekistan.
On September 11th, 2024. EUROUZ hosted a "Back to Work Jazz Night," gathering over 100 guests, including CEOs, diplomats, and officials at the Lotte City Hotel. The event featured a rooftop dinner with live jazz and introduced the new EUROUZ Executive Club. This platform is designed to enhance collaboration among business leaders and diplomats within Uzbekistan and internationally.
On September 9th, EUROUZ, in collaboration with CCI France Ouzbékistan, hosted a Business Breakfast on Uzbekistan's WTO accession. The team, led by Mr. Aziz Urunov, the President's Special Representative on WTO matters, shared updates on the ongoing negotiations and reforms.
The event gathered over 45 European business leaders, including EUROUZ and CCIFO members, government officials, and diplomats.
EUROUZ, in collaboration with the EU Delegation in Uzbekistan, held the Early Summer Soirée at the EU Residence. The event gathered members of EUROUZ, representatives of EU diplomatic missions, and government officials. This event served to create an enchanting atmosphere, fostering valuable networking opportunities, knowledge exchange, and engaging conversations.
EUROUZ's TIIF side-event was a resounding success, bringing together prominent stakeholders and executives to explore trade, investment, and partnership opportunities. With over 110 attendees, the gathering was a vibrant hub for networking, knowledge sharing, and strategic discussions aimed at finding synergies between EU and Uzbek markets.
EUROUZ became EU recognized international organization in Q3-2022.
Highlights of the first Annual General Meeting included reports from the EUROUZ Secretary-General & the Board Members as well an introduction to our active committees by their chairpersons.
Members cast crucial votes on initiatives and amendments to our statutory documents.
The EUROUZ Committee on Healthcare and Life Sciences, in collaboration with leading government organizations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, representatives from analytical centers, both chambers of the Uzbek parliament, the EU 2 diplomatic corps, and more than 20 European companies held an international roundtable on the development of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors
On Tuesday 19th of March, the European-Uzbek Association for Economic Cooperation (EUROUZ), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, think tanks, international financial institutions, and European Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations, held the annual online webinar “Uzbekistan 2024: Economic Update”.
EUROUZ organized & co-hosted two important events that underlined a burgeoning commitment to fortify relations between Uzbekistan, Central Asia and the European Union. These events, focused on highlighting Uzbekistan’s relations with the EU, have not only highlighted the potential for collaborative growth but also paved the way for a future where Central Asia and Europe move together towards closer economic collaboration.
In December 2023, EUROUZ together with the EU delegation in Uzbekistan, celebrated the official inauguration of EUROUZ Full Tashkent Branch office . The event brought together over 140 high-ranking participants from the Government of Uzbekistan, the EU, representatives of European and Uzbekistan companies, the international diplomatic community in Tashkent, and media.
On October 27, 2023 EUROUZ and EIAS hosted the 2023 Europe-Uzbekistan Annual Business Meetings in Brussels. With over 120 in-person and 800 unique online viewers, this event set the stage for productive discussions between high-ranking representatives from Uzbekistan, the EU, European companies, and investors.
EUROUZ, in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Benelux countries and in partnership with members - FIT & AWEX, organized a Garden Reception for Business in Brussels. The event gathered business representatives from some of Belgium’s leading companies, EUROUZ members from across Europe, diplomats, and EU officials.
EUROUZ, in partnership with the Delegation of the European
Union to Uzbekistan, organized a European Networking Event at the EBRD 2023 Annual Meeting and
Business Forum on Wednesday evening, May 17th, 2023, in the city of
Samarkand as the official third-party event of the EBRD Annual Meetings.
As part of the official visit of the delegation of the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs)
to Uzbekistan, on April 4, 2023, the Europe-Uzbekistan Association for Economic Cooperation (EUROUZ)
organized a networking meeting with CEOs of Uzbekistan’s largest companies.
On the eve of the first Tashkent International Investment Forum EUROUZ and the Delegation of EU to Uzbekistan held a European Business Evening. The event brought together more than 130 heads of Uzbek and European companies, as well as, ambassadors of EU countries and Uzbek officials from the Oliy Majlis and MIFT.
